*EFMI MEMBERSHIP: EFMI membership requires someone to be a member of one of the national medical informatics association or one of the organisations that are members of EFMI. There is no individual membership.
** Students are kindly requested to provide the Professional Congress Organizers with a valid student identity card through the online registration process.
*** Any Full Paper/Short Communication Paper/Poster submission requires to have at least one author fully registered (no student registration) to the conference once accepted. Multiple submissions of Full Paper/Short Communication Paper/Poster require one distinct registration per each accepted submission (in this case also student registrations can be considered if at least one full registration is present). Disrespect of this usual EFMI/MIE rule will lead to submission acceptance cancellation.

Cancellation policy:
For any cancellation, the following cancellation fee will be applied:
More than 80 days before the first day of the congress: No cancellation fee / Complete reimbursement (not including the bank fees that you may had to pay).
Between 79 and 30 days before the first day of the congress: Cancellation fee of 50% / Reimbursement of 50% of your payment.
Less than 30 days before the first day of the congress: Cancellation fee of 100% / No reimbursement.
Please note that no cancellation is possible if a VISA Letter has been required for this registration.
Moreover, no cancellation is possible if the registration is connected to one published paper / poster.
Invitation Letters for visa purposes can only be issued to people who have completed the registration process and paid the registration fee. Participants requiring a visa should apply immediately to the Italian embassy in their home country in order to avoid inconvenience.
The Conference Secretariat will process official Invitation Letters upon request, to be issued as PDF documents via email. Please, contact the embassy before your appointment to confirm what documents are required.
